The FIREFIGHTER'S FIREESCAPE™ HARNESS (FFEH) is a complete full body escape system for Firefighters that fits in your Bunker Pants Cargo Pocket! It is with the Firefighter at all times if needed and can be donned in 30 seconds! You do not have to remove your gloves or SCBA, and only your helmet briefly and then you put it back on.

DESCENT RANGE OF 60 FEET! The provided FFEH Duty Line Bag contains 57 feet of STERLING EscapeTech 7.5 mm Line. It is the most compact NFPA certified line. With a sternal connecting point, the distance from your sternum to the floor is added to the total descent distance. You will be able to descend approximately 60 feet. Factory wrapped at ESS to help eliminate twist, kinks and knots.
TOPPLIING IS ELIMINATED! With the sternal connection point, you are always held in an upright position while descending, EVEN WITH SCBA!
CAN BE USED ON AN UNCONSCIOUS OR INJURED FIREFIGHTER! Slowed rate of descent is built into the Firefighter's FireEscape™ Harness using the 3EDS Rack Descender, and is NFPA compliant. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO MANUALLY OPERATE THE 3EDS RACK DESCENDER TO DESCEND. In an emergency evacuation, you have no time to be fumbling with a manual descender or brake, especially if you topple. You need to get away from the danger ASAP. And a manual descender is useless for an unconscious or injured Firefighter.
KEVLAR BRAKE is extremely sensitive. Can easily hold a Firefighter in one position with very little effort if needed. Can be used to slow or stop your descent all the way to the ground.
EASY-GRAB BRAKE HANDLE is oversized to be easily grabbed with gloves on and operated in an emergency.

THE FFEH IS NOT ONLY FOR EMERGENCY EVACUATIONS FROM BURNING STURCTURES. If you have a vehicle over a steep hill or if you need to go down into a hole after someone, you have the right equipment with you. The FireEscape™ can also be used for recovery if the victim is able. With a simple loop and a half-hitch knot between the 3EDS Rack and the Kevlar Brake, no additional line will be able to transition up through the 3EDS Rack. If the loop is large enough, it can go around a victim's chest, and the first responder and the victim can both be pulled to safety at the same time.

RESCUE BAG 150 (Optional). 150 feet descent capability with the Rescue Bag 150. Will not fit in a Cargo Pocket. Attaches to the FireEscape™ in the same manner as the FFEH Duty Line Bag. Due to the machine wrapping like the FFEH Duty Line Bag, this line pulls from the Rescue Bag 150 with almost no resistance. This makes it an excellent Emergency Throw Bag. 12" x 5", 4 lbs. 5 oz. Cannot be repacked. Must be returned to ESS for rewrapping or replacement.
