The SRT/TAC™ Harness is a "One Hand, or Hands Free" descending tactical harness that can be removed in approximately 5 seconds with ONE hand. Your weapon hand is ALWAYS FREE or both hands can be free during a hands free descent or elevated rescue.
The SRT/TAC™ Kevlar Brake is very sensitive and the user can stop or slow the descent as needed, even during a hands free descent! The Hands Free Brake Strap attaches to your lower thigh above your knee, and by slightly raising your thigh towards your chest allows for you to descend. If you want to stop, simply drop your leg, its very easy to use and you have both hands free.
The SRT/TAC™ Harness uses Samson Tech-12 100% Technora 1/4" Line with a MBS of 7,300 lbs. This line is super strong, cut resistant, very light, and very compactable. All Line Bags are easily and quickly exchanged on the SRT/TAC™ Harness.
Two Line Bag options, 120 or 200 foot descents. Longer line bags on request.
SRT/TAC™ Line Bag 120, contains 117 feet of line and allows for a 120 foot descent with the sternal attachment point. 4 x 10" and weighs
2.5 lbs.
SRT/TAC™ Line Bag 200, contains 197 feet of line and allows for a 200 foot descent with the sternal attachment point. 5 x 10" and weighs
3.5 lbs.
The orange SRT/TAC Practice Stuff Bag 40 is included. Can be repacked multiple times for 40 foot practice descents. Easily removed or attached. 2 lbs.
Frontal D-Ring allows for dog or equipment attachment.
With ESS Patent Pending line wrapping process, the line is tightly wrapped in the line bag. The line pulls from the bag with very little resistance and comes out completely straight with no twist or kinks.
The SRT/TAC™ Harness Line Bags cannot be repacked in the field. The SRT/TAC™ Practice Stuff Bag 40 can be repacked in the field for multiple practice descents.
