FireEscape™ NFPA Line Bags 60, and 150 are to be use with the FireEscape™ NFPA Harness only. They contain 57, and 147 feet of Sterling EscapeTech 7.5 mm, 3,911 lbs., MBS, NFPA Fire Escape Rope. The 150 bag can be used with the FireEscape™ Harness for extended descents or used as a Throw Bag.
FireEscape™ NFPA Line Bags are for Emergency Use Only, these bags CANNOT be repacked in the field. If undamaged after use, the line can be returned to ESS for repacking or a replacement purchased.
The FireEscape™ Practice Bag can be repacked in the field for repeated training descents.
FireEscape™ Harness with the NFPA Line Bag 60 will fit in a Cargo Pocket.
Both FireEscape™ NFPA Line Bags are made of strong FR NFPA Water Repellent Fabric, Kevlar Thread, and the Line Bag 150 has a Kevlar Strap Handle.
With the ESS Patent Pending #63/668,958 Line Wrapping Process the line is stored in a very compact configuration that helps prevent kinks and knots. Unlike normal line bags, this line comes out STRAIGHT, NO TWIST AND NO KINKS! These lines pull from the bags with very little resistance, making the 150 bag the PERFECT THROW BAG for farther distances.
